Pick Up / Drop Off Policy

School Hours :

Part Time Early Childhood Hours:
Pre-K3/4: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 11:45am

Full Time School Hours:
Pre-K3/4/KG- High School
Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 3:30pm
Friday- 8:00 -2:00pm

Tardy

Tardy: 08:01am - 10:00am After 10:00am Arrival -Absent

Dismissal

Part-time Student Pick up: 11:45am - 12:05pm Full-time Student Pick up: 3:25pm- 3:50pm Friday - 2:00pm -2:30pm

Late pick up and fees:

Part-time students - 12:06 PM onwards Fulltime students (Mon - Thus)- 3:50 - 4:20 PM Friday- 2:35- 3:35 PM (after 3:35 charge is $1.00/minute) Charge - $5.00 after 4:20PM- $1.00/ minute

Ramadan Hours:

Regular 08:00am - 2:00pm

Arrival Procedure :

Our school hours are between 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM (except during Ramadhan, which are 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM). It is the responsibility of parents to drop off and pick up their children on time. All parents should use the second entrance and proceed to the main entrance of the masjid and drop off their child(ren) on the left side at the front of the masjid (brothers entrance), at the designated area. Students KG thru 11th grade should be dropped at the main entrance and the Pre-school students to be escorted to their modular classrooms. Students should enter the school building through the main entrance only (brothers’ entrance). Please do not park in front of the drop-off / pick up area. You may park in the parking lot for appointments or other school business. A student is marked tardy at 8:01 AM. If any student arrives after 8:15 AM, he/ she should report to the school administration office to receive a tardy slip before entering the classroom. Please make sure that your child is entering his/her classroom. It is highly recommended to escort Pre-K - 1st grade students to their classrooms.

Departure Procedure :

At dismissal time, we require all parents to remain in their automobile (do not leave your car) and follow the drop off procedure to pick up your child(ren). The children will be brought to you and released only to you. If someone else is to pick up your child, you must notify the school. Please do not park at the drop off area and block the traffic. Parents who pick up their children (after 12:00 for part time and 3:50 PM for full time ) will be subject to a late charge of $5 for each child. Please call the office if you are going to be late. You are required to send a note with your child or call the office in the morning if a relative or friend is picking up your child. It is the responsibility of the parents to provide the name and contact number of the person/s who are responsible for pick up of their child in writing. Please do not use the pick-up time for conference with the teachers. If you have any concern or question about your child, the teacher will be more than happy to schedule a conference time with you.
