Tuition and Fees
The ISI receives no financial support from government sources, and therefore
depends solely on tuition, fees and charitable donations from community
members. Through the help of Allah first and then through fund-raising efforts,
we endeavor to keep our fees as moderate as possible. We encourage parents to
join our school in fund-raising efforts.
ISI tuition is based on regular school calendar, which normally falls between
the middle of August, and the end of May. Tuition for the year is payable on or
before the first day of school. In order to facilitate payment, the school has
created made four payment plans. You are required to choose one of the plans
and implement it throughout the academic year.
If a family has a child in
one of the regular grades (K and up), then the child in the early childhood
program will receive 10% discount of the full tuition. If a student is admitted
any time during a given month, he/she is obligated to pay the tuition of that
month’s installment. In other words, payment of the tuition is proportioned in
nine installments.
If a payment has not been received by the 5th of the month, a late charge of
$20 will be assessed. Any account in arrears will be given a past due notice,
followed by a suspension warning. If a payment is not received by the 15th of
the month, the student may not attend school until payment is received. Your
child will be dismissed if a payment is not received by the 1st of the
following month. There will be a $20 charge for any returned check. Tuition is
due in full for each payment plan regardless of the number of days your child
has attended school. If your child is sick and does not attend, or suspended
for disciplinary measure, the payment will not be dropped and no refund or
compensation will be rendered for days missed. If any tuition or fees remain
outstanding by the end of the school year, it will result in your child not
being admitted the following year and all school records (report card,
transcript, student file etc.) will be withheld.
CHANGE OF INFORMATION
It is the parent's responsibility to inform the school office of any changes in
home address or telephone number or place of employment of both the mother and
the father (and the current phone number) and name and address of the person to
be contacted in case of an emergency. Also, parents must notify the school when
your child will be pick-up by new person other than the authorized person.
